Common use of Unsatisfactory Level of Performance Clause in Contracts

Unsatisfactory Level of Performance. All performance evaluations reflecting an unsatisfactory level of performance in one (1) or more categories shall state specific reasons for the unsatisfactory evaluation, and action necessary by the employee to improve the unsatisfactory performance, including any recommended training. The employee's performance in the unsatisfactory category shall be periodically reviewed in a conference with the employee and the immediate supervisor, until such time as the problem causing the unsatisfactory performance review has been resolved. When the immediate supervisor determines that the employee has improved their performance to a satisfactory level, a written acknowledgement of that fact will be attached to the evaluation at issue.
