Use of Artist’s Vehicle. ‌ Should the Artist choose to use their own private vehicle, they shall receive compensation as specified in the current ITA Fee Booklet, or the cash equivalent of the least expensive airfare available to the general public at the time of contracting, whichever is the lesser. The Artist must inform the Theatre at the time of negotiating their contract of the Artist's intention to use their private vehicle. Otherwise, if the Theatre has made travel arrangements which cannot be cancelled without loss to the Theatre, the Artist shall receive only the compensation outlined above, less whatever costs have been incurred by the Theatre by virtue of the cancellation. If the cancellation penalty exceeds the compensation to which the Artist would be entitled, then the Theatre shall be absolved of responsibility for transportation costs.

Use of Artist’s Vehicle. ‌ With written permission of the Engager, the Artist may use said Artist’s own car to travel to the Engager's Point of Origin and return. The Engager agrees to pay the Artist a sum equivalent to the least expensive commercially available round trip airfare or other public transportation fare where no air service is available.
Use of Artist’s Vehicle. ‌ If the Artist transports themself to the city of the Designated Venue by automobile, the NAC shall reimburse the Artist in accordance with the NAC Corporate Guidelines (Appendix A) mileage rate per kilometre from the Artist’s Place of Residence to city of the Designated Venue and return.
Use of Artist’s Vehicle. Should the Artist choose to use his/her own private vehicle for said transportation, he/she shall receive compensation at a rate of fifty-three cents ($0.53) per kilometre, to a maximum of five hundred and eleven dollars ($511.00) inclusive of return or the rate established by the Treasury Board Secretariat from time to time, if that is greater.
