USE OF DISPERSANTS. Each Party shall define its policy regarding the use of dispersants in combating oil pollution and shall describe this policy in its NCP. For this purpose, the Parties shall follow the «Guidelines for the use of dispersants for combating oil pollution at sea in the Mediterranean region» adopted by the Eighth Ordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention (Antalya, 12-15 October 1993).
