Use of Other Paid Leaves. In the event a member who is entitled to injury leave uses up all his or her injury leave time and is still unable to return to active duty, the member may, with the approval of the Safety Director, or designee, use any unused sick leave, compensatory time and vacation time to which he or she is otherwise entitled.

A. File for lost time benefits from the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation; or
B. With the approval of the Safety Director, Director or designee, use any unused sick leave, compensatory time time, personal leave and vacation time to which he or she the employee is otherwise entitled.
