Common use of USE OF SICK LEAVE BALANCE Clause in Contracts

USE OF SICK LEAVE BALANCE. Employees with a sick leave balance may utilize said sick leave for illness or injuries for themselves and immediate family members. Payment of sick leave will begin on the second consecutive day of the illness/injury, with the first day charged to personal leave. If employee is out for more than three (3) days, medical evidence of disability or illness may be required. The employee has the option to use accrued personal leave in lieu of sick leave.
