UShort Term Suspension. a. The superintendent, or designee, may immediately suspend an employee with or without pay for up to and including five (5) working days. In such cases, the superintendent shall orally notify the employee of the reason(s) for the suspension and the employee shall be allowed the opportunity to respond orally at that time.
