Vacancies and Hiring Preferences. Where a Limited Term position (funded by the Employer’s base operating budget) is converted into the Employer’s Full Time Continuing complement pursuant to Article 17.01 a) above, subject to Article 15, and where the Limited Term Employee has eighteen (18) months or more of continuous service with the Employer in said position, the newly converted position shall be posted and the Limited Term Employee who is occupying the Limited Term position at the time of conversion shall be considered to be an internal candidate for the newly created Full Time Continuing complement position.
