Vacation and Days Off Scheduling. 418. Subject to the approval of the Appointing Officer, vacation periods and days off shall be scheduled by mutual agreement of the employee and his/her supervisor. In the event of a conflict where two or more employees desire the same vacation period or days off, the supervisor shall grant the preference of the more senior employee, after taking into account the needs of the service.
