Common use of Vacation Conversion Clause in Contracts

Vacation Conversion. A member with at least seven (7) years of completed service for vacation purposes may, at his or her option, cash in up to forty (40) hours of vacation leave, provided that such hours are cashed in eight (8) hour blocks and further provided that such an option is exercised by December 31, of the calendar year in which the vacation is accrued.
