Common use of Vacation Prorated Clause in Contracts

Vacation Prorated. A probationary part-time, regular part-time, or term part-time Employee and/ or an Employee with fewer than twelve (12) months active service during a vacation year shall be granted days of paid vacation on a pro rata basis or salary in lieu thereof. Pro-rated vacation leave calculations are included in Appendix 1: Vacation Entitlement Calculations.
