Common use of Valid Driver’s Licence Clause in Contracts

Valid Driver’s Licence. (a) It shall not be a condition of employment for any Employee in the Union Representative Component to maintain a valid British Columbia Driver’s Licence; however, no such Employee shall receive any of the vehicle allowance(s) specified in Clause(s) 19.01, 19.02, and 19.03 above in respect of any period of time when he or she does not possess this licencing.

(a) It shall not be a condition of employment for any Employee employee in the Legal and Union Representative Component to maintain a valid British Columbia Driver’s Licence; however, no such Employee employee shall receive any of the vehicle allowance(s) specified in Clause(s) 19.01, 19.02, and 19.03 above in respect of any period of time when he or she does they do not possess this licencing. It is the employee’s responsibility to inform the Employer when they do not possess a valid British Columbia Driver’s Licence.
