The Vocational Certification clause establishes requirements for individuals or entities to possess specific professional qualifications or certifications relevant to their roles or services. Typically, this clause mandates that personnel must hold valid credentials from recognized institutions or governing bodies before performing certain tasks or duties under the agreement. By enforcing these standards, the clause ensures that only qualified professionals are engaged, thereby maintaining quality, compliance, and reducing the risk of errors or liability.
Vocational Certification. Vocational trades teachers shall be required to obtain industry certification as well as Florida professional certification by the beginning of 2002 - 03. A committee appointed by the DTU and the administration shall determine the specific certification required for each teaching area.
Vocational Certification. The ▇▇▇▇▇ Township Board of Education agrees to pay an additional $450 for those teachers who attain vocational certification which requires work experience beyond the regular academic requirements and who uses such certification to the advantage of the ▇▇▇▇▇ Township School District during the regular school day.
Vocational Certification. New employees who do not have a BA but who can be vocationally certified will be placed on the existing salary schedule using the following criteria: 1. Vocationally certified employees will be placed on the salary schedule based on their education and experience; 2. no less than one (1) step on the schedule will be given for every two (2) years of work experience in the trade for which they are certified beyond the apprenticeship level. No step will be granted past the maximum incoming experience allowed in the current salary schedule. The District may exceed this limit if there are documented recruitment difficulties in filling a teaching position only if the discipline has been designated on the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) shortage list; (See Appendix A.)

Horizontal steps may be given for summer work experience necessary to keep the instructor qualified and current in the trade if deemed equivalent by the Superintendent.
Vocational Certification. A teacher may advance lanes of the salary schedule through the development of a portfolio required for vocational CTE certification. For purposes of the lane advancement, completion of 1 portfolio shall be the equivalent of 5 semester credits. All portfolio work must be pre- approved by the superintendent or designee prior to the portfolio being completed to count for lane advancement. If a teacher takes any classes in order to earn vocational CTE credit, those credits shall count toward lane advancement provided written pre-approval by the superintendent or designee.
Vocational Certification. Three year certification on Column 2: five year certification on Column 3.
Vocational Certification. Faculty holding a three-year certification will receive an additional $100 per year. Faculty holding a five-year certification will receive an additional $250 per year.

  • Professional Certification The Superintendent shall at all times during the term of this Contract, and any renewal or extension thereof, hold and maintain a valid certificate required of a superintendent by the State of Texas and issued by the State Board for Educator Certification or the Texas Education Agency and any other certificates required by law.

  • Institutional Certification Certification by the Submitting Institution that delineates, among other items, the appropriate research uses of the data and the uses that are specifically excluded by the relevant informed consent documents. Further information may be found here.

  • Medical Certification (1) The University may require an employee to provide medical certification from a health care provider for FMLA leave without pay when taken for the serious health condition of the employee or the employee's family member. (2) Medical certification may be required to affirm the employee's ability to return to work and perform one or more of the essential functions of the job within the meaning of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), after being absent on FMLA leave.
