Voluntary Employees’ Benefit Association Medical Expense Plan. The University will maintain its Voluntary Employees’ Benefit Association Medical Expense Plan (“VEBA Plan”) during the term of this Agreement. All eligible employees who retire during a calendar year will participate in the VEBA Plan unless a majority of retirement eligible employees determines through a majority vote that they do not wish to participate in the VEBA Plan during that calendar year. Voting to determine participation in the VEBA Plan will be conducted according to the University’s VEBA Procedures.

  • Deferred Compensation Plan Manager shall be eligible to participate in the First Mid-Illinois Bancshares, Inc. Deferred Compensation Plan in accordance with the terms and conditions of such Plan.

  • Retiree Health Benefits 1. There is currently in effect a retiree health benefit program for retired members of LACERS under LAAC Division 4, Chapter 11. All covered employees who are members of LACERS, regardless of retirement tier, shall contribute to LACERS four percent (4%) of their pre-tax compensation earnable toward vested retiree health benefits as provided by this program. The retiree health benefit available under this program is a vested benefit for all covered employees who make this contribution, including employees enrolled in LACERS Tier 3.
