Common use of Voluntary Recognition Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Recognition. While the terms and conditions of this Agreement are in effect, any Producer who is not a party to this Agreement but who agrees to become a party to this Agreement shall sign the Bargaining Authorization and Voluntary Recognition Agreement found in Schedule 7A, acknowledging that the District Councils are the exclusive bargaining agent for classifications set out in Article 11.00 and subject to the Letters of Understanding, and signifying its acceptance of the terms contained herein. The Bargaining Authorization and Voluntary Recognition Agreement shall constitute acceptance of a binding obligation by the Producer to adhere to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and shall be executed and forwarded to the appropriate District Council by fax, electronic delivery (such as email) or physical delivery prior to contracting a Guild Member.
