Common use of VOLUNTEERS/INTERNS Clause in Contracts

VOLUNTEERS/INTERNS. CONTRACTOR may augment the above paid staff with 8 volunteers or part-time student interns. Unless waived by ADMINISTRATOR, prior to providing 9 services pursuant to this Agreement, interns shall be Master's Candidates in Counseling or Social Work 10 or have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or be participating in any state recognized counselor 11 certification program. CONTRACTOR shall provide a minimum of one (1) hour supervision for each 12 ten (10) hours of work by interns or consistent with school or licensing Board requirements. 13 CONTRACTOR shall provide supervision to volunteers as specified in the respective job descriptions 14 or work contracts. Volunteer or student intern services may not comprise more than twenty percent 15 (20%) of the services provided, unless approved in advance by ADMINISTRATOR.
