Common use of Voting Leave Clause in Contracts

Voting Leave. ‌ When an Employee’s work schedule is such that they would be unable to vote prior to or after their normally scheduled working hours due to legally mandated polling hours, the Employee shall be granted a reasonable time off duty to vote without loss of pay or accrued leave. This leave is considered administrative leave and shall not be deducted from an Employee’s personal leave account.
