Common use of Voting Time Leave Clause in Contracts

Voting Time Leave. Any teacher who is eligible to vote in any statewide primary, Presidential primary, general election, tribal election, or at any election to fill a vacancy in the office of a representative in Congress, or in the office of state senator or state representative may absent themselves from work for the purpose of voting during the election day provided the teacher has made prior arrangements for such absence with their immediate supervisor.

Any employee teacher who is eligible to vote in any statewide primary, 10 Presidential primary, general election, tribal election, election or at any election to fill a vacancy in the office of a 11 representative in Congress, or in the office of state senator or state representative may absent themselves 12 himself/herself from work for the purpose of voting during the election day provided the 13 employee teacher has made prior arrangements for such absence with their immediate supervisor.his/her immediate
