Waiver of Time Limits The time limits prescribed above may be extended by mutual agreement in writing between the Union and the Employer.

Effect of Time Limits If a grievance is not processed by the grievant at any step in accordance with the time limits of this Article, it shall be deemed withdrawn. If the District fails to respond to the grievance in a timely manner at any step, the running of its time limit shall be deemed a denial of the grievance and termination of the step in question, and the grievant may proceed to the next step. Extension of Time If the Executive shall be in violation of any provision of this Article 6, then each time limitation set forth in this Article 6 shall be extended for a period of time equal to the period of time during which such violation or violations occur.
