Waiver of Steps. A. The parties may mutually agree to waive the grievance procedure to the appropriate step for resolution.
B. Where the lower level is able to resolve the issue or issues grieved, the grievance can be redirected from the higher level to the lower level without the higher level answering the merits of the grievance, but the lower level shall answer within the time frames allowed for the higher level, upon receipt of an expedited transmittal. If the grievant is dissatisfied with the lower level response, the grievance can then be advanced to the next level above the higher level which should have responded to the grievance, with a copy to the initial higher level.
Waiver of Steps. The Appointing Authority and the Association may mutually agree to waive any or all of the first steps of the grievance procedure.
Waiver of Steps. Provided both parties agree in writing, Level One, Two and/or Three of the grievance procedures may be bypassed, and the grievance brought directly to the next level.
Waiver of Steps. By mutual consent, the parties may waive any step in this procedure. If the event giving rise to the grievance occurred because of action of an administrator other than a principal or an immediate supervisor, the grievance process may commence at Level Three within twenty (20) days after the occurrence of the event leading to the grievance.
Waiver of Steps. In the event the requested remedy is beyond the power of the immediate supervisor to grant, the grievance may be filed initially with the superintendent as provided in FORMAL LEVEL B of this Article.

In the event the requested remedy is beyond the power of the immediate supervisor to grant, the grievance may be filed initially with the superintendent as provided in 7.3 of this Article. If the superintendent does not have the power to grant the requested remedy, the grievance may be filed initially with the Board as provided in 7.4 of this Article.
Waiver of Steps. If a grievance is of such a nature and character that it may affect more than one member of the bargaining unit, or if there is a deviation, misapplication or misinterpretation of this Agreement, the Union on its own, may file the grievance directly at STEP 2.
Waiver of Steps. The parties may by written mutual agreement waive participation in the grievance steps and may similarly agree to extend the time limits established in this Article.
