Common use of Watchman Clause in Contracts

Watchman. The Contractor shall make his own security arrangements to guard the Site and premises at all times, at his own expense. The security arrangements shall be adequate to maintain strict control on the movement of material and labour. The Contractor shall extend the security arrangements to guard the material stored and/or fixed on the premises by the Sub-Contractors.
