Weather Emergencies. Upon issuance of a Hurricane Watch by the National Weather Service, the Contractor shall submit to the City a plan to secure the work area in the event a Hurricane Warning is issued. The plan shall detail how the Contractor will secure the Premises, equipment and materials in a manner as to prevent damage to the Work and prevent materials and equipment from becoming a hazard to persons and property on and around the Premises. The plan shall include a time schedule required to accomplish the hurricane preparations and a list of emergency contacts that will be available and in the City before, during and immediately after the storm. Upon issuance of a Hurricane Warning by the National Weather Service, if the Contractor has not already done so, the Contractor shall implement its hurricane preparedness plan. Cost of development and implementation of the hurricane preparedness plan shall be considered as incidental to construction. Cost of any clean up and rework required after the storm will be considered normal construction risk within Florida and shall not entitle the Contractor to any additional compensation. Contractor shall be entitled to request an extension in time for completion of the Work, in accordance with the provisions of Article 15 of this Agreement, equal to the time it is shut down for implementation of the preparedness plan, the duration of the storm and a reasonable period to restore the Premises.
Weather Emergencies. 1. When the Superintendent authorizes school closing due to Acts of God, employees will be paid for the number of calamity days authorized by the State of Ohio/Ohio Department of Education. Employees will not be required to work and will not be paid on any additional calamity days. Employees will be permitted to use Annual Leave, Personal Leave or Compensatory time for additional calamity day(s) school/district closure(s). Employees will be required to work and will be paid on calamity make-up days for time worked at their normal rate of pay.

Weather Emergencies. The Employer retains the right to declare a weather emergency and to designate as essential those employees who are required to report to work during weather emergencies. The Employer agrees to furnish the Union with a list of essential employees and to notify all employees designated essential. When a weather emergency is declared, non-essential employees will not have to report to work and shall be paid at their regular rate. Essential employees shall report, and shall be paid for all hours worked. In addition, an essential employee shall receive one (1) hour's pay or one (1) hour's compensatory time for each hour worked. When a weather emergency has been declared pursuant to this article, the Employer may compensate essential employees who make every reasonable effort to come to work and are unable to do so. Compensation shall be at the regular rate of pay. Legitimate and adequate proof may be required by the Employer.
Weather Emergencies. 30.01 When a weather emergency is declared by the City Manager or his designee, those affected shall receive their regular pay and shall offset such pay against accumulated personal, vacation, holiday or compensatory time. The City Manager or his designee shall consult with the officer in charge of the Police Division as to the duration of a given emergency.
Weather Emergencies. Employees who are located in facilities that are managed by EHS agencies of the executive branch (e.g. DMH, DDS), shall be treated in the same manner as employees of those agencies at the location for purposes of paid release due to inclement weather.

In the event of weather emergencies, staff should consider the Agency open unless a specific announcement regarding the closing of all Trumbull County offices is carried by the local media. However, the Agency’s 24-Hour Emergency team and residential facilities will always remain operational.

If the District exercises its discretion to completely close its operations due to a weather or natural emergency, employees may choose, by not later than the first day of work following the reopening of full District operations, and by submitting their request on a form to be prepared by the District, to utilize their accruals in order to be paid for their otherwise unpaid regularly scheduled hours on the day(s) on which the District was fully closed.
Weather Emergencies. When appropriate, the Town Manager will declare a weather emergency and notify Department/Division Heads to allow non-essential personnel to leave. Whenever possible, advance notice will be given as to time of early release. If conditions call for continuous severe weather conditions, the Town Manager shall make every effort to declare the weather emergency as early in the day as possible, for example, target release time 1:00 with noontime notification. Department/Division Heads should pre-determine which personnel are essential after discussing considerations with their staff. Department/Division Heads have discretion to determine which employees will be required to stay during each weather emergency. Each employee required to stay will be awarded an hour and one half of compensatory time for each hour stayed, to be taken within 4 months. When Division Heads are required to stay by their Department Head, they will not be entitled to this compensatory time. Employees receiving other compensation associated with weather conditions shall not be eligible for this compensatory time. A snow emergency calling list shall be maintained, to be used in the event of the delayed opening or the closing of municipal buildings.
