Common use of Weather Emergencies Clause in Contracts

Weather Emergencies. 1. When the Superintendent authorizes school closing due to Acts of God, employees will be paid for the number of calamity days authorized by the State of Ohio/Ohio Department of Education. Employees will not be required to work and will not be paid on any additional calamity days. Employees will be permitted to use Annual Leave, Personal Leave or Compensatory time for additional calamity day(s) school/district closure(s). Employees will be required to work and will be paid on calamity make-up days for time worked at their normal rate of pay.
