Weekly Indemnity Insurance. (a) An insured employee who is totally disabled and unable to work due to sickness or an accident not covered by Workers’ Compensation, will be paid a weekly benefit commencing on the first day of absence due to an accident or hospitalization and the fourth scheduled day of absence due to a sickness.
