Weekly Indemnity Payments. Employees who become totally disabled and prevented from working for remuneration or profit and who are otherwise eligible shall receive from the Employer’s insurance carrier weekly indemnity benefits consisting of 65 percent (65%) of the employee’s gross regular weekly wage rate up to a maximum of $750 effective January 1, 2010. This benefit shall be payable from the first day of disability due to an accidental bodily injury or hospitalization, or from the eighth day of disability due to sickness.
