Welcome and introduction. Xx. Xxxx Xxxxxxxx and the Xxxxxx Xxxx Unified Marching Band welcome you to the 2021 season. Students learn and combine both Music and the Marching Arts through the completion of a 7-9 minute high intensity field show. Students travel to regional band competitions to perform and experience the Marching Band culture. Students grades 10 and above have the option of earning PE Credit by enrolling in the Marching Band class (Colorguard is not included unless those students choose to also learn an instrument in the band class). Every student is expected to attend all rehearsals and competitions. Any student absent or tardy to 3 or more rehearsals will be dropped. If you have scheduling conflicts please email Xx. Xxxxxxxx (xxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx) as soon as possible to discuss your situation. Please schedule vacations or appointments around your marching band/colorguard commitments. Program Information For the 2021 Marching Season, Live Oak High School and Xxx Xxxxxxx High School are combining their bands. As a result, the band will now be called the Xxxxxx Xxxx Unified Marching Band on all of our WBA registrations and for competitions.
