SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. (i) Where there is more than one section or group in a course and an individual is unable to accept a position in the course because the appointment is so scheduled as to conflict with another position they have accepted within the University, the employer shall make reasonable efforts to resolve such a conflict to enable the individual to accept both positions.
(ii) Employees who have taught at least four years in a hiring unit(s) and are interested in teaching in that hiring unit(s) in the following academic year and wish to have input into the scheduling of courses shall indicate in writing to the hiring unit(s) the areas of their interest and days and times during which they expect to be available. To be considered, this information must be received before the date by which time-tables must be submitted to the Room Allocation Centre
(iii) Any and all exchanges of positions between or among appointees or recommended appointees require approval of the employer.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. A. When timely employee vacation requests conflict, choice of vacation will be given the employees in each department according to seniority.
B. Service/maintenance employees may exercise seniority for a single vacation request of one or more consecutive weeks per calendar year. Seniority may not be used to displace another service/maintenance employee from the vacation schedule once the schedule has been set.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. Bus Drivers who have other work or appointments immediately prior to or after these routes that preclude attendance at a drug test appointment are required to notify the dispatcher to enable the testing to be scheduled in a manner that will not conflict with their work or appointment. The employee may be required to provide evidence of such a conflict.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. The above schedule and milestones are estimated based upon the parties' current understanding of the projected use of NASA resources. Both parties agree to put forth reasonable efforts and cooperate in good faith to achieve the objectives of this Agreement. In the event NASA's projected usage of its resources changes, PlanetSpace shall be given reasonable notice of the change, so that the schedule and milestones may be adjusted accordingly. The parties agree that NASA's usage of its resources shall have priority over the usage planned in this Agreement should a conflict arise, and NASA, in its sole discretion, shall determine whether to exercise that priority. Likewise, should a conflict arise as between two users, NASA, in its sole discretion, shall determine the priority as between the two users. The parties agree that the facilities, equipment, supplies, or services contemplated by this Agreement shall not be performed in any manner which interferes with NASA's overall mission.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. When a field trip leaves prior to the end of a driver’s regular run and there is no substitute available to cover that run, an attempt will be made to negotiate the departure time. If that fails, one of the following employees will take the field trip: another Field Trip Driver, Transportation Resource, Mechanics, or Operations Supervisor. In cases where safety concerns exist, the coach or person in charge of the field trip will determine, with the approval of transportation supervisor or designee whether the driver covering the trip can drop off students and leave the site or remain until the regular driver arrives to complete the trip. The regular driver who originally selected the field trip must go to the field trip site after completing his/her regular run and complete the remainder of the trip.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. In the event that the foregoing schedules for use by NORDC conflicts with School activities to be held on the Recreational Improvements, the School shall submit a request to NORDC to accommodate such School activities. Any adjustments to the schedules shall be by mutual agreement of the Parties.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. If a scheduling conflict arises where a bus driver is scheduled to drive for the CEP and a field trip on the same day, the driver shall have the option to choose which assignment he will work. The driver must notify the Employer within twenty-four (24) hours after it is apparent that a conflict exists. If a driver chooses the field trip over the CEP, refuses an assignment to the CEP or is unable to drive for the CEP on his assigned day due to illness or injury, the Employer has the right to acquire a substitute for such absence while leaving the CEP driving schedule intact.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. Associate Judge agrees to promptly notify the Clerk of the Bryan Municipal Court of Record, or his/her deputy, of any known scheduling conflicts that will prevent Associate Judge from attending a scheduled docket in the Bryan Municipal Court of Record.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. If two Employees request the use of holiday time for the same period and may not be absent simultaneously, time off will be granted by the order in which the requests were submitted. If requests are submitted on the same day, holiday time will be granted by seniority.
