JVs must at all times be aware of the responsibilities that accompany their service, uphold the values of JVC Northwest, and promote dignity and respect in their daily interactions with those they serve and with whom they live. JVC Northwest is committed to providing a safe environment for all JVs and for those with whom they serve alongside. Those who act on behalf of JVC Northwest may have a special influence on the lives of the people they serve. This imbalance of power, and hence vulnerability, can be inherent in the relationship. It is the responsibility of those representing JVC Northwest to maintain appropriate boundaries.
