Well Locations. 2.2.1 The Parties shall cooperate in locating any xxxxx that are part of the Regional Water System.
2.2.2 The Bureau of Reclamation, or its contractor, shall conduct additional field testing, study, and modeling related to the locations of any xxxxx prior to the preparation of an environmental impact statement or environmental assessment for the Regional Water System. Such testing, study and modeling shall address, among other things, the yield of potential xxxxx and the suitability of the proposed re-injection process with the underlying localized aquifer and an analysis of the impacts of the proposed xxxxx on Pueblo and non-Pueblo water uses.
2.2.3 Any environmental impact statement or environmental assessment addressing the locations of any xxxxx required for the Regional Water System shall assess the impact of such locations on both Pueblo and non-Pueblo lands and water uses.
2.2.4 Prior to final design of the Regional Water System, the Bureau of Reclamation shall consult with the Regional Water Authority, or the County and the Pueblos, if the Regional Water Authority is not yet formed, in determining whether the proposed well sites are adequate for their intended uses and purposes.
2.2.5 The location of any well on Pueblo lands shall be further subject to the provisions of Sections 2.2.5.1through 2.2.5.3.
2.2.5.1 The Secretary shall conduct government to government consultation with the Pueblos throughout the well location process. Such consultation shall be initiated prior to the field testing, study and modeling described in section
Well Locations. $_______ lump sum payment for the surface used for each well location, which shall include compensation and damages for subsequent facilities for Grantee’s Operations on the same surface area.
Well Locations. Wherever practicable, areas of existing disturbance will be used. To minimize visual contrast, well locations will not be placed in areas of dense sagebrush or other vegetation unless absolutely necessary. Brush hogging or other vegetation removal on drilling locations within areas of dense sagebrush or other vegetation will be feathered to reduce visual contrast and limited to 30 feet in diameter from each well. All above ground infrastructure related to well production will be painted in a color that best blends in with the surrounding topography. These colors are typically Covert Green (PANTONE for Architecture Color Guide 18-0617 TPX) or Carlsbad Canyon (Xxxxxxx Soil Color 2.5Y 6/2). It may be determined that different colors are required on a site specific determination based on visual assessment. The gravel surfaces surrounding the well locations, if any, will be a color that does not create a visual contrast to the surrounding topography.
