Pueblo Lands definition

Pueblo Lands means those lands located within the Taos Valley to which the Pueblo, or the United States in its capacity as trustee for the Pueblo, holds title subject to federal law limitations on alienation. Such lands include Tracts A, B, and C, the Pueblo’s land grant, the Blue Lake Wilderness Area, and the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Tracts and are generally depicted in Attachment 2.
Pueblo Lands means all lands within the exterior boundaries of the Santa Ana Pueblo Grant, the lands known as the El Ranchito Grant, and the Santa Ana Indian Reservation, as those tracts exist at the time of enactment of this Code and as enlarged or modified thereafter, whether or not such land is owned by or on behalf of the Pueblo, and any other lands owned by the Pueblo and subject to federal law restrictions against alienation, or owned by the United States of America in trust for the Pueblo.
Pueblo Lands means any land or any interest in land owned or held by the Pueblo, or held in trust by the United States for the Pueblo. Pueblo Lands is synonymous to the definition of Civil Jurisdiction over Property within Pueblo Territorial Jurisdiction as that term is used in Chapter 2 [of Title 1] of the Pueblo of Acoma Laws 2003.

  • The Town shall not construct any well as part of its Future Water Supply Well Field within one quarter (¼) mile of any Pueblo Lands, and the Pueblo shall not construct any new well within a one half (½) mile radius of any well that is part of the Town’s Future Water Supply Well Field.

  • The Pueblo and the County agree that Federal law, including 25 U.S.C. §§ 323- 328 and 25 CFR Part 169, controls the application, granting and administration of ROWs on Pueblo Lands, including any ROWs applied for or granted pursuant to this Agreement.

Pueblo Lands means all lands within the Picuris Pueblo Grant in Taos County, New Mexico, that are owned by the Pueblo, and any other lands that are held by the United States in trust for the Pueblo.

Pueblo Lands means any real property that is: (A) held by the United States in trust on behalf of the Pueblo within the Rio Chama Stream System, or owned by the Pueblo subject to federal restraints on alienation within the Rio Chama Stream System; or (B) owned by the Pueblo within the Rio Chama Stream System before the Enforceability Date; or acquired by the Pueblo on or after the Enforceability Date if the real property is located: (i) within the exterior boundaries of the Pueblo Grant; or (ii) within the exterior boundaries of any territory set aside for the Pueblo pursuant to federal statute; federal administrative decision; federal executive order or court decree.
