Whenever Unemployment. Insurance Forms, vacation and statutory holiday pay credits and pay cheques are not given to employees at the time of termination, they shall be sent by the Employer affected to the employee by registered mail to his last known address within three (3) days of the time of termination.

Whenever Unemployment. Insurance Separation Slip and pay cheques are not given to employees at the time of termination, they shall be sent by the Employer concerned to the employee by registered mail to his last known address within three (3) days of the time of termination.

  • Unemployment 1. If an employee or former employee is wholly or partially unemployed, he may claim benefits pursuant to the WW and also claim an enhanced benefit pursuant to the BWRHBO if he complies with the provisions laid down in these regulations.

  • Unemployment Compensation The Contractor shall be solely responsible for the unemployment compensation payments on behalf of their employees and personnel. The Contractor shall not be entitled to unemployment compensation in connection with the Services performed under this Agreement.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Unemployment Insurance Unemployment Insurance coverage will be provided during the life of this Agreement for regular and auxiliary employees who would, if employed by a private employer, be eligible for such coverage under the provisions of the Unemployment Insurance Act.

  • Family and Medical Leave Act All employees who worked for the Employer for a minimum of twelve (12) months and worked at least 1250 hours during the past twelve (12) months are eligible for unpaid leave as set forth in the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. Eligible employees are entitled to up to a total of 12 weeks of unpaid leave during any twelve (12) month period for the following reasons:

  • Unemployment Benefits The Company will not oppose the Executive’s claim for unemployment insurance benefits.

  • Family and Medical Leave (FMLA FMLA leave shall be granted pursuant to applicable law.

  • Family and Medical Leaves The City of Minneapolis fully complies with the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, 29 U.S. Code Chapter 28. See Family and Medical Leave Policy and Procedures at the City’s Policy and Procedures web page.

  • Employment Protection A regular employee who is displaced from their job because of technological change will be considered to be laid off according to Article 13 (Layoff and Recall).

  • Portability of Sick Leave 1. The employer will accept up to sixty (60) accumulated sick leave days from other school districts in British Columbia, for employees hired to or on exchange in the district.
