Common use of Width of Sweeper Path Clause in Contracts

Width of Sweeper Path. CONTRACTOR shall sweep a path, with all brooms 24 down, with a width of not less than eight (8) feet unless parked vehicles, structures, or other 25 objects prohibit the safe sweeping of this path width. The path shall begin at the face of the 26 curb, and include the flow line of the gutter. Unless blocked by parked cars, Garbage Carts, 27 Recycling Carts, or Green Waste/Organic Waste Carts the face of the curb and gutter shall 28 always be included within the sweeper path. On those residential streets with no curb, the width 29 of the sweeper path shall be not less than eight (8) feet measured from the edge of the 30 pavement toward the center of the street.

On those residential streets Residential 16 Streets with no curb, the width 29 of the sweeper path shall be not less than eight (8) 17 feet measured from the edge of the 30 pavement toward the center of the street.
