Street Sweeping. The Developer is responsible for the removal of all construction debris and earth materials within the public right-of-way during construction. The City will inspect the roadways to ensure the Developer is keeping all public roadway surfaces clean. If any portion of a public roadway surface is found in an unacceptable condition, the City will have appropriate equipment dispatched to the site an all costs associated with the clean-up effort will be billed to the Developer.
Street Sweeping. The DEVELOPER is responsible for the removal of all construction debris and earth materials within all private streets and the public right-of-way typically resulting from new home construction activities, including public right-of-way adjacent to the DEVELOPMENT PROPERTY. The CITY will inspect the roadways to ensure the DEVELOPER is keeping all roadway surfaces clean. If any portion of a roadway surface is found in an unacceptable condition, the CITY will have appropriate equipment dispatched to the site an all costs associated with the clean-up effort will be billed to the DEVELOPER.
Street Sweeping. The Street Division shall operate an early street sweeping crew consisting of a minimum of two (2) persons (equipment operators). Additional crew members may be added as workload demands. This crew shall work five (5) days per week, 4:00 a.m. to noon, May through September. The work day for the aforementioned early street sweeping crew shall include one fifteen (15) minute break and one twenty (20) minute paid lunch period. The equipment operators assigned to the crew shall be selected as follows:
Street Sweeping. The streets within the BID area are mechanically swept on a daily, twice weekly or weekly basis. Manual ‘follow up’ litter picking of areas inaccessible to mechanical street sweeping equipment is closely co-ordinated with the mechanical street sweeping operations on the twice weekly and weekly schedules. Streets designated as ‘daily sweep’ have a permanent manual street cleansing presence from 7.30 to 19.30 Mon – Wed and 7.30 to 22.00 Thurs to Saturday and 6.30 to 15.30 on Sundays. All roads will be cleaned to Grade A standard as set out in the Code of Practice for Litter and Refuse (COPL&R) on completion of each scheduled cleansing operation. During normal working hours, where the grade falls below a B- grade between cleansing operations, the street cleansing team will return the area back to grade A within the timescales set out in the COPL&R: Zone 1 Roads: Grade D 3 hours Grade B- /C 6 hours Zone 2 Roads: Grade D 6 hours Grade B- /C 24 hours In addition to the removal of litter and detritus, the routine street sweeping schedules also encompass the removal of leaves, seeds and blossom fall through the changing seasons.
Street Sweeping. Xxxxxxx shall provide and operate self-loading motorized street sweepers equipped with functional water spray systems to effectively clean all Trip Routes and other paved surfaces affected by the Project whenever debris or foreign material is present, and as required by the City, without damaging any pavement surface or pavement marking. Operation of street sweepers shall be in conformance with all applicable dust control requirements.
Street Sweeping. 1503 Section 4.15 and Exhibit O of the Agreement specify City’s requirements for provision of street sweeping 1504 services by Contractor.
Street Sweeping. Street and parking area sweeping shall take place twice annually.
Street Sweeping. (b) The Project shall have a vested right to those above-listed services and facilities. City shall take all such actions as are necessary to ensure that such services and facilities are available to the Project when necessary and/or desirous to the Project.
Street Sweeping. 22 If during the term of this Agreement, circumstances exist which require work 23 associated with the RSS Service program that are not specifically provided for in this 24 Agreement, the City Representative may require CONTRACTOR to perform such other 25 associated work (“OAW”). When CONTRACTOR performs OAW, the labor, materials, 26 and equipment used in the performance of such work shall be subject to the prior 27 written approval of the City Representative. Examples of OAW that CONTRACTOR 28 may be required to perform include: 29 • Performance of special sweeps 30 • Flood clean-up 31 • Street sanitation for parades and celebrations 32 • Neighborhood clean-up activities 33 • Any contingency where sweeper and supporting sweeper equipment could 34 assist in a particular instance. 35 CONTRACTOR will be compensated for the performance of OAW based on the 36 rates set forth in Exhibit 1 (“Compensation”) provided that CONTRACTOR has first 37 secured written authorization and approval from the City Representative to perform the 38 work.
