Withdrawal or Modification of Proposal. A proposal may be withdrawn by letter or in person before the due date specified in Item 1.2. Schedule of Events. Proposals may be modified in writing by mail or personal delivery received at the place designated in Item 2.17. Proposal Package not later than the time set for the opening as set forth in Item 1.2 Schedule of Events. Modification shall not reveal the proposal price but shall provide for the addition or subtraction of the modification so that final prices or terms will not be known to the Owners until the sealed proposal is opened. Modifications may not be withdrawn after the time set for opening of proposals. No oral changes, alterations, or conditions will be accepted under any circumstances. RESPONSE: UNDERSTOOD

  • Rejection of Proposals The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept the proposal or any part thereof which it determines to best serve the needs of the County and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals. While cost is a factor in any contract award, it is not the only factor and may not be the determining factor.
