Within Grade. Section 26-1. Within-grade salary increases will be awarded to eligible GS employees, who at the time of eligibility have demonstrated an acceptable level of competence in the work to which assigned. Employees under the regular wage schedule shall automatically receive within-grade increases if their work is rated Fully Successful or better.
