Women’s Special Funding. From the funds in Specific Appropriation 366, General Revenue for the expansion of substance abuse services for pregnant women, mothers, and their affected families. These subcontracts shall be executed and managed in accordance with Guidance 26 – Women’s Special Funding. These services shall include the expansion of residential treatment, outpatient treatment with housing support, outreach, detoxification, child care and post-partum case management supporting both the mother and child consistent with recommendations from the Statewide Task Force on Prescription Drug Abuse and Newborns. Priority for services shall be given to counties with the greatest need and available treatment capacity.

  • Extensions - Special Circumstances An employee shall be entitled to extend the maternity leave by up to an additional six (6) consecutive weeks' leave without pay where a physician certifies the employee as unable to return to work for medical reasons related to the birth. An employee shall be entitled to extend the parental leave by up to an additional five (5) consecutive weeks' leave without pay where the child is at least six (6) months of age before coming into the employee's care and custody and the child is certified as suffering from a physical, psychological or emotional condition. Provided however, that in no case shall the combined maternity and parental leave exceed fifty-two (52) consecutive weeks following the commencement of the leave.

REV. STAT. § 20-206, as amended, with an AM Best, Inc. rating of A- or above with policies and forms satisfactory to the City. Failure to maintain insurance as specified herein may result in termination of this Agreement at the City’s option.
