Work as Field Training Officer. The Chief may appoint a bargaining unit member as a Field Training Officer. The Field Training Officer must meet all established requirements and complete any assigned training for this position. Upon certification, assignment to the position and assignment of a trainee, the Field Training Officer will be entitled to plus rate pay in accordance with Section 1 of this Article.
