Work during holidays. 12.7.1 In addition to any holiday allowance to which he / she may be entitled for the holiday, an employee who works on the day he / she would otherwise have observed one of the holidays listed in Article 21 will be paid two (2) times his / her regular rate of pay (Attachment A - Wage Progression Scale) for the hours actually worked. 12.7.2 If an employee is excused from work on a holiday, the hours will be counted as hours worked in computing overtime.
