Common use of Workplace Delegates Clause in Contracts

Workplace Delegates. Council recognises the role that the relevant Union/s workplace delegates play in promoting understanding of industrial instruments, knowledge of industrial instruments (including awards and agreements) and dispute resolution. On being notified in writing by the relevant Unions that an employee has been appointed as a workplace delegate, the Council will recognise the employee as a relevant Union workplace delegate and allow them the following:
