Written Procedure. If the grievance is not satisfactorily resolved by Step 1, the employee shall reduce the grievance to writing and present it to the Director of EMS, or his/her designee, within five (5) business days after the verbal discussion of Step 1. The grievance shall be dated and signed by the aggrieved employee and his/her representative and shall set forth the facts, including dates, and the provisions of the Agreement that are alleged to have been violated and the remedy desired. The Director of EMS, or his/her designee, shall make his/her written disposition of the grievance to the local representative within ten (10) business days of receipt of the grievance.
