Common use of Written Record Clause in Contracts

Written Record. A written record of all disciplinary actions other than oral reprimands shall be made available to an employee upon request. All disciplinary records shall state the corrective action expected of the employee. Each employee shall receive a copy of evaluative personnel and disciplinary actions. Any disciplinary action or measure imposed upon an employee may be processed as a grievance through the regular grievance procedure. If the Employer has reason to reprimand an employee, it shall be done in a manner that will not embarrass the employee before other employees or in public.
