Written Reprimand, or Merit Increase Denial - Battalion Chief, Section Manager, Division Manager, or Division Chief. Upon receipt of a written reprimand, or denial of a merit increase, an employee may, within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of such notice, submit a request to the Human Resources Director or Battalion Chief for a meeting to address the matter. The Human Resources Director will schedule a meeting with the appropriate Battalion Chief, Section Manager, or Division Chief to hear the employee’s presentation. After hearing the employee’s presentation, the Battalion Chief, Section Manager, or Division Chief will issue a written determination within fourteen (14) calendar days
