  • Authorized User You may request us to issue a Card to an individual who has no financial responsibility under this Agreement. An Authorized User has the same access to your Account as you do, subject to any limitations we may impose. An Authorized User has no authority to add or delete Cardholders, request a replacement Card or terminate or modify this Agreement. You may terminate an Authorized User’s authority to access your Account at any time. To do this, you must return the Card to PenFed. You agree that you are responsible for all charges and cash advances made by an Authorized User, including charges made before the Card is returned, recurring charges, or charges made without the use of the Card initiated by the Authorized User after termination of the Authorized User’s access.

  • Contracting Authors When the Author is more than one person then, unless otherwise indicated in this Agreement or agreed in writing by the Publisher: (a) the expression “Author” as used in this Agreement will apply collectively for all such persons (each a "co-author"); (b) the Corresponding Author hereby warrants and represents that all co-authors of the contribution have expressly agreed that the Corresponding Author has full right, power and authority to sign this Agreement on their behalf, that the Corresponding Author is entitled to act on their behalf, and that they shall be bound by the Corresponding Author, with respect to all matters, responsibilities, notices and communications related to this Agreement; the Corresponding Author shall obtain authorisations and make them available to the Publisher on request; and (c) each co-author is jointly and severally responsible for the Author’s obligations under this Agreement which apply to each co-author individually and to the co-authors collectively and the Publisher shall not be bound by any separate agreement or legal relationship as between the co-authors. The Author will prepare a contribution provisionally entitled: [Title of the Contribution] The expression “Contribution” as used in this Agreement means the contribution as identified above, and includes without limitation all related material delivered to the Publisher by or on behalf of the Author whatever its media and form (including text, graphical elements, tables, videos and/or links) in all versions and editions in whole or in part. The Contribution may contain links (e.g. frames or in-line links) to media enhancements (e.g. additional documents, tables, diagrams, charts, graphics, illustrations, animations, pictures, videos and/or software) or to social or functional enhancements, complementing the Contribution, which are provided on the Author’s own website or on a third party website or repository (e.g. maintained by an institution) subject always to the Author providing to the Editor, at the latest at the delivery date of the manuscript for the Contribution, an accurate description of each media enhancement and its respective website or repository, including its/their owner, nature and the URL. The Publisher is entitled to reject the inclusion of, or suspend, or delete links to all or any individual media enhancements. In the event that an index is deemed necessary, the Author shall assist the Editor in its preparation (e.g. by suggesting index terms), if requested by the Editor.

  • Customer The agency or eligible user that purchases commodities or contractual services pursuant to the Contract.

  • CHANGES TO PRODUCT OR SERVICE OFFERINGS a. Product or Service Discontinuance Where Contractor is the Product Manufacturer/Developer, and Contractor publicly announces to all U.S. customers (“date of notice”) that a Product is being withdrawn from the U.S. market or that maintenance service or technical support provided by Contractor (“withdrawn support”) is no longer going to be offered, Contractor shall be required to: (i) notify the Commissioner, each Licensee and each Authorized User then under contract for maintenance or technical support in writing of the intended discontinuance; and (ii) continue to offer Product or withdrawn support upon the Contract terms previously offered for the greater of: a) the best terms offered by Contractor to any other customer, or b) not less than twelve (12) months from the date of notice; and (iii) at Authorized User’s option, provided that the Authorized User is under contract for maintenance on the date of notice, either: provide the Authorized User with a Product replacement or migration path with at least equivalent functionality at no additional charge to enable Authorized User to continue use and maintenance of the Product. In the event that the Contractor is not the Product Manufacturer, Contractor shall be required to: (i) provide the notice required under the paragraph above, to the entities described within five (5) business days of Contractor receiving notice from the Product Manufacturer, and (ii) include in such notice the period of time from the date of notice that the Product Manufacturer will continue to provide Product or withdraw support. The provisions of this subdivision (a) shall not apply or eliminate Contractor’s obligations where withdrawn support is being provided by an independent Subcontractor. In the event that such Subcontractor ceases to provide service, Contractor shall be responsible for subcontracting such service, subject to state approval, to an alternate Subcontractor.

  • Technical Safeguards 1. USAC and DSS will process the data matched and any data created by the match under the immediate supervision and control of authorized personnel to protect the confidentiality of the data, so unauthorized persons cannot retrieve any data by computer, remote terminal, or other means. 2. USAC and DSS will strictly limit authorization to these electronic data areas necessary for the authorized user to perform their official duties. All data in transit will be encrypted using algorithms that meet the requirements of the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2 or 140-3 (when applicable). 3. Authorized system users will be identified by User ID and password, and individually tracked to safeguard against the unauthorized access and use of the system. System logs of all user actions will be saved, tracked and monitored periodically. 4. USAC will transmit data to DSS via encrypted secure file delivery system. For each request, a response will be sent back to USAC to indicate success or failure of transmission.

  • FORMAT AND CONTENT FOR REGISTRY OPERATOR MONTHLY REPORTING Registry Operator shall provide one set of monthly reports per gTLD, using the API described in draft-­‐xxxxxx-­‐icann-­‐registry-­‐interfaces, see Specification 2, Part A, Section 9, reference 5, with the following content. ICANN may request in the future that the reports be delivered by other means and using other formats. ICANN will use reasonable commercial efforts to preserve the confidentiality of the information reported until three (3) months after the end of the month to which the reports relate. Unless set forth in this Specification 3, any reference to a specific time refers to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Monthly reports shall consist of data that reflects the state of the registry at the end of the month (UTC).

  • Global Safeguard Measures Each Party retains its rights and obligations under Article XIX of the GATT 1994 and the WTO Agreement on Safeguards. In taking measures under these WTO provisions, a Party shall, consistent with WTO law and jurisprudence and in accordance with its domestic legislation, exclude imports of an originating product from one or several Parties if such imports do not in and of themselves cause or threaten to cause serious injury.
