Common use of XXXXXXX / GENERAL XXXXXXX DIFFERENTIALS Clause in Contracts

XXXXXXX / GENERAL XXXXXXX DIFFERENTIALS. An Employee who is assigned by the Employer to work temporarily as a Xxxxxxx or General Xxxxxxx shall receive the appropriate Xxxxxxx / General Xxxxxxx differential (as identified in Appendix A) for a minimum of one-half (1/2) shift. If the Employee temporarily works in this capacity for more than one-half (1/2) a shift, they shall receive the differential for the entire shift. Time spent in Employer required training will be considered hours worked and shall be paid at the appropriate rate. The Xxxxxxx / General Xxxxxxx differential will be paid to only those Foremen / General Foremen permanently classified as such, not those in acting status.
