Common use of Year of Absence Clause in Contracts

Year of Absence. The Teacher remains employed by the Board during the year of absence, but is free to pursue whatever activity is decided on by the Teacher, except teaching under contract with another Board, in which case prior permission must be obtained from the Ottawa- Carleton District School Board.
