Your Overdraft Liability. If on any day, the available funds in your checking account are not sufficient to cover checks and other items posted to your account, those checks and items will be handled in accordance with our overdraft procedures and the terms of this Agreement. The Credit Union’s determination of an insufficient account balance is made at the time the check or item is presented to us, which may be later than the time you conduct the transaction. The Credit Union has no duty to notify you of a check or item that will overdraw your account. If we pay an item that overdraws your account, you are liable for and agree to pay the overdraft amount and any fees immediately. You will be subject to a charge for each presentment, whether paid or returned as set forth in the Rate and Fee Schedule. We reserve the right to pursue collection of previously dishonored items at any time, including giving a payer bank extra time beyond any midnight deadline limits.

Related to Your Overdraft Liability

  • Aircraft Liability (Additional requirement applicable for aerial photograph or contract involving any use of aircraft.)

  • Joint Liability Each person who has signed the application or applied for a card will be individually and jointly responsible for paying all amounts owed under this Agreement. This means that the Credit Union can require any one of you individually to repay the entire amount owed under this Agreement. Each of you authorizes the other(s) to make purchases or cash advances individually. Any one of you may terminate the account and the termination will be effective as to all of you.

  • Overdraft Fees There is an Overdraft fee for each paid overdraft check or item. If we do not pay the overdraft, there is a NSF/Returned Item fee per check or item. If a returned NSF check or item is presented again on an overdrawn account, there will be an additional NSF returned item fee. There is no limit on the number of overdrafts paid or overdraft fees incurred on any one day. These fees are set forth in our Fee Schedule.

  • Your Liability The following determines your liability for any unauthorized EFT or any series of related unauthorized EFTs:

  • Overdraft Protection Plan If we approve your request for overdraft protection, we will provide an overdraft protection plan for you. We will honor drafts drawn on insufficient funds in any checking account by transferring the funds from a deposit or loan account to your checking account. If you elect to have transfers to checking, funds will be transferred in the amount necessary to clear the overdrawn item. The fee for overdraft transfers and copies of checks is set forth on the Business Services Fee Schedule. Transfers from a deposit account will be governed by this Agreement. Transfers from your line of credit account will be governed by the applicable loan agreement.

  • Overdrafts The Trust is responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of short term cash investments to accommodate cash outflows. The Trust may obtain a formal line of credit for potential overdrafts of its custody account. In the event of an overdraft or in the event the line of credit is insufficient to cover an overdraft, the overdraft amount or the overdraft amount that exceeds the line of credit will be charged in accordance with the fee schedule set forth on Exhibit C hereto (as amended from time to time)
