Youth to Youth. The Union and SMACNA Greater Chicago agree to meet and develop a more detailed plan to implement the Youth to Youth program during the length of this agreement.

Youth to Youth. The parties will establish on a local basis the SMART Youth-to-Youth program (the program) and the procedures to enable all apprentices to participate in the program. The activities of the program that deal with organizing and other traditional union activities shall be funded by the Local Union through a check off in compliance with the provisions of Section 302(c) of the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947. Activities that may be funded by Employer Contributions shall be so funded if, and to the extent, the parties shall agree locally to sponsor and implement the same. Contribution is $0.25 per hour (deduct after taxes).
