Absent Employees definition

Absent Employees is defined in Section 8.2(b) of this Agreement.
Absent Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 5.7(a) hereof.
Absent Employees means those employees of the Payroll Business who are on Short-Term Disability, maternity leave, parental leave, or other approved leave of absence (except Long-Term Disability), as listed on Schedule 1.1(a);

Examples of Absent Employees in a sentence

  • Absent Employee's agreement to this Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreement, the Employment Agreement between Employer and Employee shall have no force and no effect and shall be treated as though it is void ab initio and Employer will not employ Employee.

  • Absent Employees will not be considered for call-ins until the Employee notifies the Employer of their availability.

  • Not less than 5 days prior to Closing, Purchaser shall indicate to Seller the Absent Employees, if any, to which Purchaser intends to offer employment.

  • If the terms of the Absent Employee's leave of absence or disability absence provides for continued employment with the Business, Buyer shall offer employment to each such Absent Employee listed in Section 5.7 of the Seller Disclosure Schedule in accordance with such employee's reemployment terms as of the date after the Closing Date that the employee returns to work.

  • Replacing Absent Employees In the absence of a bargaining unit member who works more hours, a member in the same classification who works less hours shall have the opportunity to replace the absent employee from the first day of absence within the same building.


More Definitions of Absent Employees

Absent Employees has the meaning set out in section 5.33(b); (b) "Act" means the Canada Business Corporations Act, as the same may be amended from time to time and any successor legislation thereto;
Absent Employees shall have the meaning provided in Section 11.1(a).
Absent Employees means Company Employees absent from active work as of the Effective Time due to short-term disability, long-term disability or a work-related condition subject to workers compensation.

Related to Absent Employees

  • Permanent Employees means all employees who are not casual employees, or employees working in a long-term supply assignment, as defined below.

  • Current Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 5.6(a).

  • Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.

  • Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:

  • Hired Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.5(a).

  • Retained Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.1.

  • Company Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.10(a).

  • Continuing Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.9(a).

  • Business Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 4.10(a).

  • Excluded Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 14.1.

  • Relevant Employees means the employees who may be affected by a change referred to in subclause (1).

  • Transferred Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).

  • Key Employees means Xxxxx Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx.

  • Student Employee means a student who is paid by the District, and may include students participating in a work study program or who receive stipends while they are acting within the scope of their employment at the District at the time the intellectual property was created.

  • Former Employees means Former Parent Group Employees and Former SpinCo Group Employees.

  • Seller Employees shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 7.4(a) hereof.

  • Permanent Employee means an employee who has successfully completed probationary period on initial appointment.

  • Contract employee means an employee performing services under a PEO services contract or temporary help services contract.

  • Affected Employees means those employees who are exposed to the hazard(s) identified as a violation(s) in a citation.

  • Current Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 7.8(a).

  • Union Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.12(a).

  • Protected Employees means employees of the Company who were employed by the Company at any time within six (6) months prior to the Determination Date.

  • Parent Employee means, a current employee of Parent or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Casual Employees are employed on an "on call" basis to cover absences due to sick leave, vacation, or other approved leaves, or to augment staff during peak periods or periods of staff shortage.

  • Management Employee means an employee having responsibility for formulating, administering or managing the implementation of District policies and programs.

  • Part-Time Employees means employees employed on a permanent basis, but obligated to work less than a full (i.e., forty-hour) work week.
