Academic Coach definition

Academic Coach. (REACH only) means the individual who is charged with monitoring the Scholar’s academic progress and REACH Program commitments.
Academic Coach means any bargaining unit employee who is compensated on the Certificated Academic Coach Salary Schedule (Appendix A-3).
Academic Coach means a professional employee who facilitates student involvement in academic team competition events outside the regular classroom environment.

  • The Academic Coach is responsible for the initial introduction of the Program to the student, regular contact with the student via phone, email, SMS or IM to review progress and resolve issues and to provide support in case the student is having difficulties with the Program.

  • This includes correspondence from staff, professors, Student Financial Services, Student Accounts, Academic Coach, and other important communications that require student attention.

  • Academic Council means the Academic Council of the University;

For Faculty Members in the Faculty of Medicine who are not members of a Division, the Academic Unit shall be the Faculty.

  • Academic year means the period of twelve months beginning on 1st January, 1st April, 1st July or 1st September according to whether the course in question begins in the winter, the spring, the summer or the autumn respectively but if students are required to begin attending the course during August or September and to continue attending through the autumn, the academic year of the course is to be considered to begin in the autumn rather than the summer;

For the purpose of this division, “cannabis” does not mean “industrial hemp” as defined by Section 11018.5 of the Health and Safety Code. Cannabis and the term “marijuana” may be used interchangeably.

  • Academy means the academy named at the beginning of this Disciplinary Policy and Procedure and includes all sites upon which the academy undertaking is, from time to time, being carried out.
