Academic Progress. We understand that teachers are required to report and communicate the student’s academic progress. If the student falls below the level of satisfactory educational progress noted below, an evaluation will be conducted to determine whether the student should remain in Independent Study or return to the school district of residence or other traditional school program.

Academic Progress. Xxxxx Fellows are required to maintain satisfactory academic progress, according to the conditions below. 1. Xxxxx Fellows are expected to remain in the program for the full term of study, and are responsible for observing satisfactory academic standards and fulfilling the requirements and expectations of the NSEP-funded program of study, as well as maintaining a standard of conduct and integrity in keeping with the spirit and intent of the National Security Education Program. 1 To the extent there may be any inconsistency or conflict between 50 U.S.C. § 1902 and XxXX 1025.02, the provisions of 50 U.S.C. § 1902 prevail over those of XxXX 1025.02. This applies to any and all references to either 50 U.S.C. § 1902 and XxXX 1025.02 throughout this document. 2. If the Xxxxx Fellow fails to maintain satisfactory academic progress according to the regularly prescribed standards and practices of the home or host institution for any term in which the Xxxxx Fellowship is provided, probationary measures of the home or host institution will apply to the student. Failure to meet the home or host institutions’ requirements to resume satisfactory academic progress within the prescribed guidelines of the home or host institution will result in the termination of the Xxxxx Fellowship to the award recipient. Xxxxx Fellows must notify IIE within 10 days if advised of failure to maintain academic progress by the home or host institution. 3. Extenuating circumstances, such as illness of the Xxxxx Fellow or a close relative, death of a close relative, or an interruption of study caused by the host institution, may be considered as acceptable reasons for non-satisfactory academic progress. Xxxxx Fellows must notify IIE of any such extenuating circumstances within 10 days of occurrence. IIE will review these cases on an individual basis to determine what course of action is appropriate and recommend such action to NSEP for final determination.
Academic Progress. All Residents must make continual academic progress toward a degree and remain continuously enrolled in classes at VCU for fall and spring terms as set forth below unless they have been approved for an exemption request from the Senior Associate Director of Administrative Services for RLH: 1. Undergraduate students must remain continuously enrolled in at least nine credits. 2. Graduate students must remain continuously enrolled in the number of credits indicating full-time status as defined by their program. 3. Residents with twelve (12)-month Housing Contracts must meet the credit requirements in this section for fall and spring terms and are exempt from credit requirements only during the summer session. 4. In certain limited circumstances, students may obtain permission to drop temporarily below the required minimum number of credits. Students wishing to do so may submit an exemption request form to the Senior Associate Director of Administrative Services for RLH. Residents should be aware that to graduate in four years, they should take a minimum of 15 credits per term. Eligibility status is not dependent on in-person, virtual, or hybrid course modality. Enrollment in any one modality or a change in course modality is not grounds for a release from this housing contract.
Academic Progress. As part of Lavaca Middle School’s parent involvement plan, 5th grade students will bring home a “Take Home Folder” once a week with school notes, parent-teacher communication as well as grades papers. Academic Progress. Student shall maintain satisfactory progress in all core courses taken. If student's semester average is less than 75 in any of the core subject areas of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, the student may be placed on academic probation for the next semester. If any of student's averages is below 75 in any core subject at the end of the probationary period, the student may be denied transfer status in the following school year. In addition, student also must pass the appropriate grade level or course state assessment. Failure of a state exam invalidates the transfer agreement, although the parent will be allowed to appeal. A declaration that a student is ineligible for a transfer in a future school year due to a lack of academic progress may be based on the recommendation of the campus Principal. If a student is assigned to summer school or tutorials and fails to attend, the Principal may recommend that the student be considered for denial of transfer status in a future school year. All transfer students are expected to show progress toward college and career readiness. Students at the 9-12 level are expected to complete at least 3 to12 college hours, complete one or more AP classes and progress towards the highest graduation plan. All students are expected to participate in at least one extracurricular activity and 6th_l21h grade students must complete 10 community service hours per year. Students taking a STAAR assessment are expected to attain a score of "MEETS GRADE LEVEL" or an "ACCELERATED" Progress Measure for each assessment taken. Parent/guardian shall attend all scheduled and requested parent conferences and be readily accessible and responsive to efforts made by District staff to contact parent/guardian by either phone, digital message (SMS, internet or app-based messaging platforms) or e-mail. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to update contact information with the District accordingly. Transfer students who enroll after the first instructional day may be required to attend a mandatory parent and student meeting upon their starting school. Failure to attend the required parent conferences without documented justifiable reason may result in the student being denied transfer status in future school years. Student and parent/ guardian shall support the mission, goals and purposes of Xxxx ISD as well as abide by all established policies, administrative rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the academic programs of Xxxx...

Academic Progress. 7.1 The Resident acknowledges that the House is a community of scholars that strive for high academic standards. All residents are expected to maintain good academic progress. Continued academic failure or non-progression of academic course may result in the termination or non-renewal of the residential agreement. 7.2 By entering into the Agreement, the Resident authorises the Director (or delegate) to access the Resident’s academic results (subjects and grades only) for each academic year or each semester for the dual purpose of pastoral care and to ensure the continued high academic standards of the House. The Director (or delegate) will not be required to separately obtain the Resident’s consent or authorisation in this regard. 7.3 The Director will ensure these results are: (a) only available to view by the Senior Staff of the House and not disclosed to or available for viewing by anyone else unless required to do so by law; (b) kept in a secure place; (c) retained only for the period of the Resident’s stay in the House; and (d) destroyed when the Resident leaves the House. 7.4 Without limiting its other rights under the Agreement, the University is entitled to withhold from the Resident any or all academic results until the Resident remedies any breach of the Resident’s obligations under the Agreement including non-payment of fees. 7.5 This clause 7 applies only to Residents who are students of the University.
