Acid Gas Flaring definition

Acid Gas Flaring or “AG Flaring” shall mean the combustion of an Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas in an AG Flaring Device.
Acid Gas Flaring or “AG Flaring” shall mean the combustion of Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas in an AG Flaring Device. Nothing in this definition shall be construed to modify, limit, or affect EPA’s authority to regulate the flaring of gases that do not fall within the definitions of Acid Gas or Sour Water Stripper Gas contained in this Decree.
Acid Gas Flaring means the combustion of Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas in an Acid Gas Flaring Device. “Acid Gas Flaring Device” shall mean any device at EWVI that is used for the purpose of combusting Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas, except facilities in which gases are combusted to produce sulfur or sulfuric acid. The Acid Gas Flaring Device currently in service at EWVI is 00A-01.

  • The permittee shall follow the procedures in this section "Acid Gas Flaring Incidents" to evaluate whether Acid Gas/Sour Water Stripper Gas Flaring Incidents are due to Malfunctions.

  • The PMOP shall have as its goal the elimination of Acid Gas Flaring and the continuous operation of the SRP, between scheduled maintenance turnarounds, with a minimization of emissions.

  • No later than 45 days following the end of an Acid Gas Flaring Incident, a Tail Gas Unit shutdown, bypass of a Tail Gas Unit, or other event resulting in a Tail Gas Incident, including scheduled and unscheduled Shutdowns of a Sulfur Recovery Plant, occurring after the Date of Entry, Shell shall conduct an investigation to identify the Root Cause(s) of the Flaring Incident and record the findings of the investigations in a report (“Root Cause Failure Analysis”).

  • On each January 31 and July 31, Shell shall submit to EPA and the applicable state agency a semi-annual report that includes copies of every report of all Acid Gas Flaring Incidents and Tail Gas Incidents, as required in Paragraph 38, that Shell was required to prepare for the previous six month period.

  • The sellers will have to provide copies of the land registry entries relating to their property to prove their ownership.

  • Nothing in this Consent Decree shall be construed as to impose any liability on the part of ExxonMobil for Acid Gas Flaring occurring within Montana Sulfur and Chemical Company's contiguous facility.

  • The requirement for continuous monitoring of the SRP emission points is not applicable to the Acid Gas Flaring Devices used to flare the Acid Gas or Sour Water Stripper Gas diverted from the SRPs.

  • Sunoco shall investigate the cause of future Acid Gas Flaring and Tail Gas Incidents, take reasonable steps to correct the conditions that have caused or contributed to such Acid Gas Flaring and Tail Gas Incidents, and min imize Acid Gas Flar ing and Tail Gas Incidents at the Marcus Hook, Philadelphia, and Toledo Refineries.

  • To the extent that, during the duration of the Consent Decree, the El Paso Refinery utilizes any devices other than these three flares to combust Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas, those devices shall be Acid Gas Flaring Devices and shall be subject to the requirements of this Consent Decree.

  • Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;

  • Ethanol blended gasoline means the same as defined in section 214A.1.

  • Bulk gasoline plant means a gasoline storage and distribution facility with an average daily throughput of 20,000 gallons (76,000 liters) of gasoline or less on a 30-day rolling average.

  • Transport Gas means the gas purchased by a Customer from a supplier other than KUB that Customer has arranged to have Delivered to KUB for delivery to the Customer by KUB.

  • Condensate means hydrocarbon liquid separated from natural gas which condenses due to changes in the temperature or pressure and remains liquid at standard conditions.

  • Liquefied natural gas or “LNG” means natural gas that has been liquefied.

  • Oil ’ means oil of any kind or in any form, including, but not limited to, petroleum, fuel oil, sludge, oil refuse, and oil mixed with wastes other than dredged spoil;

  • Gas well means a well producing gas or natural gas from a common source of gas supply as determined by the commission.

  • CO2 means carbon dioxide.

  • Geothermal fluid means water in any form at temperatures greater than 120

  • Unpolluted water means water of quality equal to or better than the effluent criteria in effect or water that would not cause violation of receiving water quality standards and would not be benefited by discharge to the sanitary sewers and wastewater treatment facilities provided.

  • Cubic foot of gas means the amount of gas required to fill a cubic foot of space when the gas is at an absolute pressure of fourteen and seventy-three hundredths (14.73) pounds per square inch at a temperature of sixty (60) degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Total hydrocarbons (THC) means the sum of all volatile compounds measurable by a flame ionization detector (FID).

  • Gas means natural gas, manufactured gas, synthetic natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas or propane-air gas, or a mixture of any of them, but does not include a liquefied petroleum gas that is distributed by means other than a pipeline;

  • Liquefied petroleum gas means a mixture of light hydrocarbons (predominantly propane, butane) that is gaseous under conditions of ambient temperature and pressure and that is maintained in a liquid state by an increase of pressure or lowering of temperature;

  • Gathering System means that portion of Gatherer’s pipeline system, including all appurtenances thereto, related to the provision of gathering and transportation services provided by Gatherer pursuant to this tariff.

  • Gas Transporter means the licensed operator of the transportation network through which gas is transported to you;

  • Gathering lines means any pipeline, equipment, facility, or building used in the transportation of oil or gas during oil or gas production or gathering operations.

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per million.

  • Hydrocarbons means oil, gas, casinghead gas, drip gasoline, natural gasoline, condensate, distillate, liquid hydrocarbons, gaseous hydrocarbons and all products refined or separated therefrom.

  • Landfill Gas means any gas derived through any biological process from the decomposition of waste buried within a waste disposal site.

  • greenhouse gas emissions means emissions in terms of tonnes of CO2 equivalent of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) determined pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 525/2013 and falling within the scope of this Regulation;
